This is a great party food. The ingredients might sound a little sketchy but it is fun when your friends try to guess what gives it the zip – it’s the mayo!
- French bread, cut on the diagonal into slices. It is best if it is day old.
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 bunches of green onions, green tops sliced into thin rings
- 3 shakes of garlic powder
Stir together the mayo, cheese, garlic and onions. Spread onto bread. Below yu can see what it should like before baking.
Bake in heated oven at 350 degrees or until cheese is bubbly, about 8 minutes. The longer you leave them in, the crisper they will be. I have served them still soft and I have served them fully toasted, like the top image.
